Lifeguards
The Georgia Aquatic Center is offering a Lifeguard Training Course. The Lifeguard Training (LGT) course provides the skills and knowledge needed to become a lifeguard in a non-surf environment. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive American Red Cross certificates in Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. The American Red Cross has updated this program. The new course prerequisites are a 300-yard continuous swim, timed object removal from 7-10 foot depth and you must be a minimum 15 years of age by end of class. During class participants will practice rescue skills, First Aid, and CPR with AED for adults, children and infants.
Class Dates:
April 16th from 6-8PM
April 17th, 18th, 23rd
& 24th 9AM-4PM
Class cost:
The class will cost $150.00. This covers the cost of all the materials and certification cards.
